Revelation Vessels

This series of vessels/vases features layered colors topped with a metallic, sometimes mirrored finish. Once cooled to room temperature, the artist outlines a shape or design on the surface of the piece--a shape or design that is in conversation with the shape of the vessel itself. He then removes the exterior layer to reveal what lies beneath.
