New Workshop Guidelines

New Workshop Guidelines

We are so looking forward to having folks back in the studio for workshops! As you all know, the world is still dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic so…

First, a reminder: like much of the Denver Metro area, Jefferson County is currently under a “Safer at Home” order

We ask that you please follow the procedures listed below to keep all of us healthy and safe.
  • Do not come to the hotshop if you are ill in any way. Take care of yourself, stay home, and we’ll see you when you feel better!
  • You MUST wear a mask when you come into the shop and throughout your workshop.
  • We have hand sanitizer and ask that you use it first thing upon coming into the studio. Feel free to use it again after your time at the bench!
Other things to be aware of:
  • Classes are now scheduled with extra time between workshops so that we can clean and disinfect surfaces and tools between each class. Please arrive for your workshop at the appointed time to allow for this cleaning.
  • We ask that not more than 3 people come to any given class—we aim to limit the number of people in the hotshop at one time to a max of 4 including the instructor.
  • We will focus on solid-sculpted hot glass pieces (paperweights, flowers, sculpted hearts, “splash” bowl/platters) for the time being, rather than blown-glass items.

Thanks for working with us in the name of public health!
