The Furnace, an acclaimed wholesale glass design, manufacturing and installation studio, created a large, vibrant glassworks installation for the launch of Denver's Guard & Grace Steakhouse Restaurant. The Furnace created a stunning installation of over 150 hand-blown glass cylinders for the entry room, offering a golden glow that perfectly complements Guard & Grace’s elegant, softly curving space and warm, organic color palettes.
“We were delighted to create the new installation for Guard & Grace, and to contribute to the impact of their stunningly designed space,” comments Corey Silverman, Co-Founder of The Furnace - a glassworks. “ The glassworks installation is suspended in front of the highly visible wine area, and was designed to echo and intensify the shine and glow of all of the glass in the area.
“It was an intensive project, but also ultimately very rewarding,” adds Silverman. “We were excited to contribute to a terrific new restaurant, and were especially happy that both KTI and Guard & Grace were so happy with the outcome.” From concept meetings to installation, the entire project took place from mid September 2013 to the end of February 2014.
