This spring, The Furnace: a glassworks + gallery is proud to feature the glass mosaics of Colorado artist Nataly Parson.

About Nataly

"Ripple" Mosaic

Nataly's artwork focuses on color combinations and optical illusion effects to create spectacularly mesmerizing pieces.

She has been creating these pieces for more than 10 years; they have recently been featured in galleries and shows all over Colorado including The Collective in Lafayette, PACE CENTER GALLERY at PARKER ARTS and Foothills Art Center, where one of them was named Best of Show. Nataly, who brands her work with the moniker "fun.art.colorado,"  works and teaches out of her studio in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Since The Furnace opened in our new location back in November, we have shown a few of these mosaics alongside other Colorado and US glass artists. In March and April we are showcasing 7 stunning pieces by Nataly—which happily also coincides with our 7th anniversary!

These pieces range in size from 36” to 8.5”, perfect for any space needing a little color. The show includes one of Nataly's largest and most eye-catching pieces, titled BRIGHTER THAN THE SUN. She describes it as “probably the brightest mosaic I have ever made.”

You can learn more about Nataly and her art by visiting The Furnace in person at 8090 W Colfax in Lakewood, or visiting her digital showcases on Instagram, Facebook, and on her website www.funartcolorado.com.
